Pesto
Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh basil
- ¼ cup grated parmesan
- ½ cup olive oil
- ¼ cup pinenuts or almonds
- ½ to 1 Tbsp chopped garlic
- ¼ tsp salt
Instructions
- Toast almonds or pinenuts at 450 for about 5 minutes. Cool.
- (Watch them closely or they will burn.)
- Combine all ingredients in your food procesor. Blend until well mixed.
- Can be frozen.
- Make double batches at a time.
