Sharp Cheddar Cashew Cheese Spread
Ingredients
- 4 cups raw cashews,
- (soaked in water 3 to 8 hours. Drained and rinsed.)
- 2/3 cup nutritional yeast flakes
- 1 cup rejuvelac
- 3 Tbsp medium brown miso
- 2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients in a high-powered blender until very smooth.
- Transfer the mixture to a clean glass bowl, cover and let rest at room temperature for 24 to 72 hours, depending on how sharp a flavor you want.
- This will last 4 months in the refrigerator and will freeze well.
