Cocoa Almonds

Ingredients
- 2 cups raw almonds
- (Soak in water 8 – 10 hours, drain, rinse, and dehydrated at 105° approx. 6 hours)
Soak and dehydrate:
- 1 Tbsp melted coconut oil
- 2 Tbsp agave nectar
- 1 Tbsp raw cacao powder
- ¼ tsp sea salt
Mix:
Instructions
- Add almonds to the mixture.
- Allow them to sit for a couple of hours to absorb the coating.
- Spread mixture evenly on dehydrator fruit roll sheet and dry until no longer wet/sticky—about 14 to 18 hours, below 115 degrees.
- (Can be transferred to a screen-type tray that allows more airflow after partially dry)
- Coat the finished almonds with the following mixture: 2 Tbsp raw cacao powder and 2 Tbsp coconut palm sugar
- Store in refrigerator or freeze.
