Easy Flour or Corn Tortilla Chips

Ingredients

  • 6 eight-inch flour tortilla shells or thin corn tortillas
  • Olive oil
  • Chohula Hot Sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 450 F.
  • On two large cookie sheets put one of the tortilla in the pan. Brush with a mixture of olive oil and hot sauce.
  • Take second wrap and place on top of the oiled/hot sauced shell.
  • Smooth them around spreading the oil and hot sauce evenly to both wraps.
  • Continue until all shells are covered on both sides with mixture.
  • Add oil or hot sauce as needed.
  • Cut the stack of shells into 8ths with a pizza cutter.
  • Spread a single layer of pieces on cookie sheets.
  • Bake both sheets of chips for 8 to 10 minutes, rotating your pans half way through baking.
  • Watch them carefully the last two minutes or they might burn.
