Chimichurri

Chimichurri Sauce

Servings: 3 cups

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh parsley
  • 4 cups fresh Cilantro
  • 8 cloves garlic
  • 1 1/3 cups olive oil
  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice (3 cubes)
  • ½ tsp sea salt

Instructions

  • Thoroughly wash the parsley and cilantro leaves.
  • Puree all ingredients in a blender or food processor until it reaches desired consistency.
  • The chimichurri sauce can be smooth, chunky or somewhere in between.
  • Transfer to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator.
  • Makes a wonderful pizza sauce. ¼ cup per 12 inch pizza.
