Salt Dough

Ingredients

  • 1 cup salt
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 to 3 drops oil

Instructions

  • Mix together.
  • Shape dough.
  • Sun dry or bake at 200 for 2 hours for pieces 1/4" thick, longer for thicker pieces. Or, bake at 200 overnight with oven door open.
  • Don't use higher temperature or over bake, it will turn brown and break.
  • The purpose of baking is to dehydrate not to bake.
  • Dried pieces can be sanded after baking.
